There is talk going on the net about Google Page Rank Update December 2008. Some webmasters are reporting updates on the pagerank, how ever personaly I have not noticed any changes so far now.

There is reason for this concern on Google PageRank update. Google generally update the page rank every 2 to 3 months and last Page rank update was on Octorber end. Now it is almost 3 month and time for the Google page rank god to bless the people with next update.

It all indicates the importance of Page Rank to webmasters. Some of them are very concerned about the Google Page Rank stuff too much. In fact if you don't have good content in your site, Page Rank is not going to do much good. I will suggest that instead of worrying about Google Page Rank, one should concentrate on site content and other SEO methods.

Google Page Rank is no more related to the traffic. We have to back to the basic fact that content and only content is the king. No matter what ever result you get on the next Google Page Rank update.

Celina Jaitley does stunts for for Run Bhola Run

Recently while shooting for Run Bhola Run, Celina Jaitley proved that she has the guts to do kick-ass action too. She was briefed by her action director Abbas Ali Mugal that there was a dangerous stunt to be performed and that she could take it easy as there was a body double to do it. But Celina who as a NCC cadet has done rigorous training in the past, decided to call the shot herself. The stunt required her to jump from a 10-storeyed building. “Oh! She did an excellent job! These stunts can be very dangerous and it takes guts to perform them. In fact, there was a body double ready but Celina was pretty excited. I think she is the first female artist to do such a dangerous stunt. The whole unit praised her after the shot was over,” he said.

Celina’s only worry was perhaps that she had to do the stunt in a mini skirt! “My life that day totally depended on the entire action team as they were operating the cables from a crane on top of the 10-storey building. I was still a bit nervous because this time I was jumping in a mini skirt and not military fatigues! The worst part was leaning towards the ground from the ledge of the building before the fall. The action director and his team were extremely motivating. I got major kicks out of it as extreme sports have always excited me.” Now, aren’t you all impressed with this brave heart?

Mammootty's Love in Bangkok Starting

Mammootty’s next film in Malayalam is going to be directed by Rafi Mecartin. They had been delivering hit movies for quite sometimes. The film was originally titled Love in Singapore, but as now been changed to Love in Bangkok. This time Mammootty's heroine is Mumbai model Keerthi Kulhari.

The shooting which was scheduled to start on October 10 in Singapore has also been shifted to Bangkok. Model Keerthi Kulhari plays the role of Diana, a software company employee, who falls in love with Machu, played by Mammootty.

Earlier, Keerthi had been the model for various brands including Taj Mahal tea with Saif Ali Khan. Keerthi, who was spotted by the director duo says she is “very pleased and honoured to be Mammootty’s heroine.

The movie is being produced by MHM films and will be distributed by Vaisakha films. Love in Bangkok is slated for release on January 23, 2009.

Shorter Showers on US Campuses

Lucas Brown, a junior at Oberlin College here, was still wet from the shower the other morning as he entered his score on the neon green message board next to the bathroom sink: Three minutes, according to the plastic hourglass timer inside the shower. Two minutes faster than the morning before. One minute faster than two of his housemates.

Brown, a 21-year-old economics major, recalled the marathon runner who lived in the house last semester, saying: "He came out of the shower one morning and yelled out: ‘Two minutes 18 seconds. Beat that, Lucas!' “Another of Brown's seven housemates, Becky Bob-Waksberg, racked up the morning's longest shower: Eight minutes. The house cuts Bob-Waksberg slack, Brown said, because of her thick, curly hair, which takes longer to shampoo.

So it goes at Oberlin's new sustainability house — SEED, for Student Experiment in Ecological Design — a microcosm of a growing sustainability movement on campuses in the US, from small liberal arts colleges like Oberlin and Middlebury, in Vermont, to Lansing Community College in Michigan, to Morehouse in Atlanta, to public universities like the University of New Hampshire.

While previous generations focused on recycling and cleaning up rivers, these students want to combat global warming by figuring out ways to reduce carbon emissions in their own lives, starting with their own colleges. They also view the environment as broadly connected with social and economic issues, and their concerns include the displacement of low-income families after Hurricane Katrina and the creation of "green collar" jobs in places like the South Bronx. The mission is serious and yet, like life at the Oberlin house, it blends idealism, hands-on practicality, laid-back community and fun.

With their professors as collaborators, and with their own technological and political savvy, students are persuading administrators to switch to fossil-free fuel on campus — Middlebury is building an $11 million wood-chip-powered plant, part of its goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2016 — serve locally grown food in dining halls and make hybrid cars available for shared transportation when, say, the distance is too far to bike and there is no bus. Students are planting organic gardens and competing in dorm energy-use Olympics. At Oberlin last year, some students in the winning dorm did not shower for two weeks, officials said.

Carmen Electra is not planning for kids soon

Carmen Electra is in love and about to walk the down the aisle once again, but she admits that she is in no hurry to become a mummy.

Bollywood roads lead to Goa!

All Bollywood roads lead to Goa at some time. Right from the days when Shashi Kapoor rented a house here and brother Raj was inspired to make Bobby, his blockbuster of the 1970s, on the sunny, palm-fringed beaches with their picturesque fishing villages.

Now, with private airlines and jets, chartered flights, and better roads, Goa is almost an extension of Mumbai for Bollywood’s glam citizens to wipe off the grease paint and be sussegad over the weekends.

Salman Khan usually lands up here twice a year with his family and girlfriend Katrina Kaif. They laze around the beaches, feeding on blackened cajun prawns and haldi chilli paneer, soaking in the sun and riding the surf. Katrina recalled their last holiday, “We brought in the New Year in Goa. You can relax and let your hair down without anyone watching you.” Malaika Arora and Arbaaz have come closer to Goa by buying a Portuguese villa here. Sister Amrita Arora, says Goa provides everything, “From a wild beach party to a peaceful spot on the coastline.”

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan likes to spend quality time in Goa with wife Gauri and friends Karan Johar, Kajal Anand, Maheep Kapur, Bhavna and Chunkey Pandey. And Bipasha Basu and John Abraham, Rani Mukerji and family, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Kajol and Ajay Devgan are others who frequent Goa more than twice a year. During those days, there were hardly any hotels, but dense jungles. Whatever one or two hotels they had, we would go to and stay in. It was so much fun then,” said Bachchan.

But there are some stars who needed marriage to visit Goa. Madhuri Dixit never visited Goa till she was married to Dr Sriram Nene. “Goa will always remain special because of that. We went to the beach and the temples. It was so beautiful,” she said.

Others who love Goa include Esha Deol. “Since I’m a beach bum, Goa is one of the best spots India has to offer me,” she said. Pooja Bedi, who goes to Goa at least three-four times a year, loves the fact that she can frolic on the beaches in a bikini without being harassed. Raima Sen loves the seafood and Rohit Roy treats Goa as a hotspot for family holidays. But Munnabhai aide Arshad Warsi sums up best what Goa means to Bollywood when he said, “I love Goa, the place slows me down.”

Clinton has admitted that she is delighted by a new family tree study that associates her to the two superstars and humanitarians.

“I have no idea whether there is any truth to it (study) or not, but they’re both strong independent women,” a website quoted Hillary Clinton as saying. “They have also been very quick to give back to charities and humanitarian causes, so it would be an honour to be related to them,” she added.

In the same family tree study, Clinton’s Democratic opponent for the presidency, Barack Obama, was associated to Jolie’s partner Brad Pitt.
